A New RedSn0w Update Is Coming?

Earlier this Monday,well-known hacker iH8sn0w has been released major update on iFaith which was iFaith 1.4 to let us dump SHSH on iOS 5/iOS 5.0.1. Just not far ago, the iPhone dev team member MuscleNerd tweeted that they are working on updating  RedSn0w to do something similar.

Upcoming RedSn0w release makes both TinyUmbrella and Cydia blob saves useful for 5.0+ (1st verifies, then stitches)

Thus far, iFaith is the only tool that you can currently use to downgrade iOS 5.x devices, but not for much longer.

Similar to what iFaith does, the new version of RedSn0w will allow you to stitch IPSW firmware files with SHSH blobs and APTicket to allow ones to downgrade to previous versions of iOS 5.x.

Stay tuned, we’ll be back with more coverage once the latest and greatest version of RedSn0w touches down.

By the way,iH8sn0w also tweeted that sn0wbreeze 2.8b12 is coming right away.

Fixing up sn0wbreeze a bit. Bye bye arrow/checkmarks! 🙂 — http://www.twitvid.com/MDZSM
