Apple to Buy $7.8 Billion Worth of Components From Samsung

Apple will reportedly plans to buy $7.8 billion worth of components from Samsung this year, according to the Korea Economic Daily.

The WSJ reports that “the paper also said that Samsung will supply Apple with liquid crystal displays, mobile application processors and NAND flash memory chips used for the U.S. company’s iPhones and iPads.”

The deal will make Apple Samsung’s largest customer.
