How To Add Home Page in Mobile Safari

Have you ever wanted to add a home page to mobile safari just like you added in you PC/Mac web browser?  You can’t, until you installed this jailbreak tweak-“Home page in Safari” . “Home page in Safari” is a Cydia app that allows you to set a home page to your mobile safari browser. This tweak developed by Will Strafach (Chronic) . I’ve been tested this tweak and it runs perfect in my iOS 5 iPhone 4. It’s very easy to use and there is no setup needed, no icon added to homescreen. After you set a page as home, then every time while you launch Mobile Safari, it will automatically open the page you just set. Move over, when you close all windows in Mobile Safari, a new window will always open with your home page in it.

For example, in the image above, I set iPlayPlus as my home page. If I close the iPlayPlus window, it will re-open with a new iPlayPlus window. This ensures that there is no more blank white screen and it also keeps Mobile Safari from opening with the bookmarks by default. When you open Mobile Safari, it will show the home page that you have selected.

To set a home page, visit a page that you want your home page to be, tap on the action button at the bottom of the Mobile Safari window, and then tap on “Set as Home.” From now on, you will always have your homepage (or the last opened page) open in Mobile Safari, no matter what. You will never be plagued by the annoying bookmarks page ever again.
