RedSn0w 0.9.6rc12 (Windows, Mac) is capable of performing a tethered jailbreak of iOS 4.3.2 if pointed to the iOS 4.3.1 firmware, according to MuscleNerd.
last week’s redsn0w can JB 4.3.2 (if you point it at 4.3.1 IPSW) but that’s a tethered JB (doesn’t imply anything about @i0n1c’s untether)
We are still waiting for news on the status of an untether. In the meanwhile, if you must update, make sure to save (Windows, Mac) your SHSH Blobs then use one of the following tutorials to jailbreak skipping the part where you restore to iOS 4.3.1.
Tutorials:
● iPhone 4 (Windows, Mac)
● iPhone 3GS ( Windows, Mac)
● iPod touch 4G (Windows, Mac)
● iPod touch 3G (Windows, Mac)
● iPad 1 (Windows, Mac)

yup, finally got my iPhone jailbroken. i was right to suspect that Lion has something to do with that error message and am glad that it was fixed in the recent update of Lion. and the next weird thing happened, but somehow good, was the untethered jailbreak of my iPhone 3GS 4.3.2 with the recent version of redsn0w. i dont know how this happened. i was supposed to be ready having a tethered jailbreak but glad to have an untethered 4.3.2 jailbreak. 🙂 well, am not sure if there are those who also experienced an untethered 4.3.2 jailbreak like mine. 🙂
@Jet
Finally, you did it! Happy to hearing about this and thanks for you shared this. And the last thing you just mention about that you don’t need to tethered boot it to jailbreak again just sounds a little bit of weird but I do like it if it was happened to me.:)
hi, i just want to share what i just discovered today. i just did a jailbreak to my iPhone 3GS 4.3.2 with the latest redsn0w and i did not expect that it is not tethered. whenever my iPhone reboot, i don’t need to tethered boot it to jailbreak again. strange but i like it. 🙂
