Using Uncircle+(Plus) Google Chrome Extension To Clean All Those Inactive People In Your Circles

Few days ago, Google+ has been released for everyone to join and yesterday or I should say on 23rd Sep.G+ ‘s iOS App updated with supported Hangout, messenger and more. Today, a Google chrome extension is available for you to clean(remove) all those people are in your circles are inactive.

As you might already knew that G+ only lets you add maximum of 5,000 people to your circles. However, some of them are inactive.

Who are the inactive people?

Inactive people are those people in your circles who have not shared any posts (original, reshare, private or public posts) with you.Having at least 1 such post is a sign of activity.

Uncircle+ behind the scene:

Step 1: it collects a listing of people you’ve added to your circles.

Step 2: it checks the activity of these people.

Step 3: it shows you inactive people and lets you select which ones to remove.

Step 4: it removes selected inactive people.

This extension is in no way supported by Google and I personally take no responsibility for any problems (or benefits) it may cause.

You can download Uncircle+ from chrome web store for free.

Revisions: v1.1

– new tab instead of popup (so that it can work in the background)

– you can select who to remove

– some minor changes

v1.0

– first public release

To-Do:

Redefine the meaning of inactivity to:

– people who have not shared any posts with you in a time period you choose

– people who have not made any comments on your posts in a time period you choose

Please note: This is only working on Chrome browser.
